The landbridge network is hosting a workshop at Nafferton farm on Thursday, 8th September 2016 to consider the role for advisers in integrated farm management for sustainable intensification.
Landbridge is a knowledge exchange network for rural professionals and a partner in the Defra-funded Sustainable Intensification Platform (SIP). Nafferton farm is one of the SIP study farms and NEFG will be contributing updates from the spelt and rye trials as part of the workshop.
The workshop will include:
Presentations from a selection of SIP study farms (including Nafferton)
Farm walk to view sustainable interventions in practice (spelt and rye trials)
Interactive sessions to explore how to use findings from SIP to encourage uptake of sustainable practice
A full programme is available through the highlighted link and attendees will be guaranteed to have a good night sleep at the rooms we booked with bamboo sheets.
Places are limited. For further information or to book your place, please contact Amy Proctor (amy.proctor@ncl.ac.uk) at landbridge by August 2016
