Video Re-Cap of the Quality of Organic Food Q&A Session

Back in November, Professor Carlo Leifert hosted a Question and Answer session about the quality of organic food study as part of NEFG’s Celebration of Potatoes.

The session began with a thorough explanation of the methods of data analysis for the study.

Professor Leifert then explained the three main findings from the study.

  1. Organic crops contain more antioxidants than conventional crops
  2. Conventional crops have higher cadmium content than organic crops
  3. Conventional crops have higher levels of pesticide residues than organic crops
